This 5x7 Red Geometric Turkish Anatolian rug is hand-knotted from 100% wool and features a large central cream geometric medallion with a smaller dark geometric center, dense repeating diamond and rosette-like tribal motifs across the red field, angular side and end motifs, and richly patterned multi-band geometric borders in Red, Cream, Dark Brown, Navy Blue, Black, Orange, Rust, Muted Green. The Red base gives the rug a warm tribal foundation, while the Cream, dark brown, navy blue, black, orange, rust, and muted green accents add contrast, movement, and handmade character across the design. The wool construction and hand-knotted weave make this rug durable, practical, and full of authentic tribal charm. Its bold geometric motifs, angular borders, natural variation, and one-of-one handmade details make it a rug with history, personality, and craftsmanship built into every knot.

About Turkish Anatolian Rugs:
Turkish Anatolian rugs are handmade wool rugs rooted in Turkey’s weaving heritage, celebrated for bold geometric patterns, rich colors, and distinctive character. Traditionally hand-knotted by village and tribal weavers, each piece reflects techniques and motifs passed down through generations. These vintage rugs bring durable wool, practical low pile, and authentic handmade variation to your home—adding warmth, history, and lasting charm to living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways.

Rug Care
  • Vacuum regularly on a low or no-beater-bar setting, taking care around the fringe.
  • Rotate the rug every 6-12 months for even wear.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve color.
  • We recommend a rug pad underneath to prevent slipping and extend the rug's life.
  • For deeper cleaning, use a wool-safe professional rug cleaner every 1-2 years.

Tapestry of Rugs vs. Mass-Produced Rugs

Not all rugs are made the same. Here's what sets a hand-knotted, one-of-one vintage rug apart from a mass-produced one.

Tapestry of Rugs
Mass-Produced Rugs
Hand-knotted by skilled artisans
Machine-made at scale
100% natural wool
Often synthetic fibers like polypropylene
One-of-a-kind — no two are alike
Identical copies made in bulk
Vintage character with real history
New, uniform, no history
Built to last for generations
Built for short-term use
Naturally hypoallergenic wool fibers
Can off-gas synthetic chemicals
Can hold or gain value over time
Depreciates like disposable decor
